Aggravated assault is defined at Sec. 22.02 of the Texas Penal Code, and the penalty for an attempt is defined at Section 15.01. It thus appears that the maximum penalty wouldbe two to twenty years in prison and/or a fine not to exceed $10,000 (but that could increase under habitual offender laws if she has a record).

You should be able to find out from the court if a trial date has been set. If she has bonded out, though, her trial may be delayed from that date. (They try people who are incarcerated first, and most courts will schedule more than one case for trial on the same day because many cases are resolved by plea bargains.)
