My question involves criminal law for the state of: California, RIverside county
I am wrapping up five year felony probation but not sure if there is a process to it. In five years I've been tranfered to so many different probation officers its hard to get a hold of the one who holds my case now. I've never had contact with police other than a couple traffic tickets that I immediately took care of. I met two probations officers in Five years and that includes the day I went in the day after I got out off jail and when I was tranfered to be supervised by the probation office in the county I live in. Im confused on who needs to be contacted and if anything needs to be done. I believe it's a good thing I've been such low priority to the officer's but I cant get a call back and I've been trying for a few days now. Should I just consider myself off probation on the date my court papers say? I wanna travel and be free again immediately so I would appreciate some help.
