Default How Long is a Drug Charge on Your Record

My spouse we arrested and convicted in the 3rd quarter of 2006 for possesion of hydrocodone byt theft and forgery. She was sentenced to 60 days in country jail with work release and 2 years on probation. She wants to go and apply for a job but is worried about the chance she could be turned down because of her past and is wanting to save herself the embarressment. How long would something like that be on her record? Is that considered a felony and if so what kind?

Criminal records are not like credit records, where things drop off the bottom after x number of years. If you have a criminal record you have it FOREVER unless it is expunged by the courts.

Do you know if you can get a drug felony expunged if not how long does it stay on your record or how many years before it cannot be used against you?
