Default Friend Driving My Car in DUI

My question involves criminal law for the state of: Florida

I gave permission for a friend to drive my car and this person was in an accident and taken to the hospital where blood was taken. I wasn't present, but there were no injuries other than to the driver.
Will my insurance cover the damages to my car and the other car, if it is ruled a dui?
Also, this would be the person's first offense. Is there consideration for this? I'm very worried about this person going to jail if the blood is over the legal limit.

To find out if your policy covers your damage, you need to read your policy. It probably does if collision damage is covered, but I can't check the language for you.
