Default Theft of Car and Stabbings

A friend of mine has been accused of criminal damage to a teenagers car. The Teenager who's car got vandalised was a illegal driver with no tax mot or license. The teenager then stole another car and got three associates with him to go round the the gentlemens flat who they thought had done the criminal damage there her stabbed, my friend in the face with the knife and cut him just before the police arrived to find the knife and he was sat in the stolen car, The whole event has been captured on camera, and the defendent is in custody as we speak. What should the defendent get for these crimes? he has a list as long as your arm for driving illegally stealing cars and drug abuse....can my friend expect this social scum to just walkaway as most crimes this guy has got away with?

    Default UK Criminal Law

I'm, unfortunately, not familiar with UK sentencing procedure. But if he doees get off too easily, perhaps your friend should petition for an ASBO.
