Hello
My quesiton to anyone here who is knowledgable on this would be greatly appreciated.
My brother recently traveled to Norway and got married to his long time girlfriend in her home country. She is a Norwegian citizen and not very long ago overstayed on her tourist visa(by a couple years) and then traveled back to Norway.
She was denied as of today(3/23/06) the right to enter into the US to be with her husband (my brother) who is a US ctizen.
The embassy supposedly said that she is barred from entry into the US for the next 10 years no matter what because of her overstaying on her last visit here.
This is so wrong...my brother who is extremely educated now intends to leave the US and move to Norway to be with his lawfull wedded/recognized wife? Will he return to the US, I highly doubt it and fully expect him to revoke his citizenship once he is over there.
Is there any possible legal way of being able to get my brother's wife over here so I do not lose my brother due to the fanatically conservative idiots in our government?
Thank You for hearing me, any adivse is greatly appreciated and welcomed.
Mark
