    Default Emancipating From One Parent

My question involves emancipation laws for the State of: Wisconsin

I just want to know if its possible to remove legal custody of only one parent, my mother is fine. She is a saint and raises me well, I stay fed I stay dressed, and I stay educated. However my dad who used to be an alcoholic and abused my other family members, and whom of course loves to scare me into being his perfect child. He emotionally rips my mom to shreds in and out of the marriage, he refuses to speak to my brother or even see his own grand children, and he only suddenly started to care about me when I went to Bellin and it made a mark on his insurance. He then took my mother into mediation and sent her into tears with his constant rude attitude, making her feel as if she was the bad person in the situation. I'm not sure what to do, I've faced up to my dad and argued with him, I've stated what I want for a healthy relationship and he continues to taunt me and insult me. He insults the fact that I go to therapy, he insults how I dress, and he insults almost every choice I make that doesn't meet his standards. I just want to know what I can do, if you need to ask any more questions for me to specify please post. Thank you for your time, please give me some assistance.

Are your parents still married to one another and living together?

If so, then no, it is not possible.

No, they are divorced. They have been for quite some time now.

Then your mother would have to go back to court and request full custody. It might happen. It might not. It will be the decision of the court.
