My question involves criminal law for the state of: Ky.
Three men broke into a store that my cousin, age 21, worked for. They have not caught them. But in talking with my cousin they determined that he was in the area the night of the burglary (he also worked at the store) and dated the manager. So they have arraigned him for complicit b/c one of the men who committed the b&e called my cousin and asked him to drive through the store's parking lot and tell them what he saw. My cousin did this, not knowing that they were robbing the place at the time, but now he is afraid to tell who called him and they have indicted and arraigned him, and only him, on the b&e. What steps should he take? He cannot afford an atty. and is worried. He swears he had no part in the robbery.
