Washington state. Divorce dismissed in May. Wife went nuts, charged with DV. Divorce reopened in July. Only papers served to me about this reopening was the Contempt of court for not paying "temporary spousal maintenance" that I had no ability to pay. I have court Wed.
She's seeking imprisonment and retroactive payments (nunc pro tunc) to include when the order wasn't even in effect. My argument (of many) is that the law says the judgment is discharged when the dissolution is dismissed. So the judge can go back, vacate the divorce dismissal like it never happened. But still, that doesn't mean the spousal support is also reinstated does it?
