Default 17 Year Old, Charged As Accomplice to Shoplifting Case

My question involves criminal law for the state of: New York

So about three days ago me and my friend went into Lord and Taylor. We went down into the women's jewelry section because my friend said he wanted to buy some jewelry for his girlfriend. I went off to look at watches and then came back and stood next to my friend. He then asked me to look if anyone was behind us, so I panicked and looked not wanting to get caught. We both hurried away as my friend slipped a ton of jewelry into his pockets. Right as we exited the store we were arrested and taken to loss prevention. My friend stole around 500 dollars worth of jewelry and I stole nothing. I was charged with 155.25 petit larceny, but I was noted as an accomplice. I was wondering what are the chances of me getting an ACD because I really need to. I have hired a lawyer and all, but I just was wondering if the chances of an ACD for this case were good. Also I know the court I'm going into gets a lot of shoplifting cases. Also I am 17, and have a clean record. Thanks.

This is a question you should be addressing to your attorney. S/he has access to all the facts of your case. We don't.

Like the op said your lawyer should know the answer. If it's your 1st time in trouble and there only one charge you should have a chance.Where in ny did this happen, you also quaitlfy for youthful offender status which would avoid a conviction and should seal the charge.
