Default Getting Out of Michigan Lease Agreement

My question involves landlord-tenant law in the State of: Michigan
I moved into a rental home on August 1st. Since moving in, we have found out that the basement has a bad leak when it rains, the air ducts have a bad smell even after being cleaned, there is what looks like mold in the corner of my son's closet upstairs, and the basement has a bad, musty smell.
What, if any, recourse do I have of terminating the lease agreement?
We have a home inspector coming tomorrow to assess the mold. But I am really congested since moving in and my son's health is a concern.

It depends on a number of factors.

Have you notified your landlord of these problems? When did you do so? What actions has he taken to remedy the problems? When did he begin to take actions? What timeline has he given you for completion of necessary repairs?
