Default What Are My Rights to My Things in Storage

My mom has been paying for my storage in the state I moved from so I could come out here and "get on my feet" Well my parent's are on some childish spiteful mess and I think they may be going back and getting rid of my things in the storage. now i plan to be back in that state next month and I asked was trying to ask her not to damage or remove my things but she is in her mode. Can they do this with my things? I have all my kids things and all my personal things in that storage. EVERYTHING that made up my home when I had my place. Is this legal?

ETA- I moved from MD and I live in TX. My things are in MD.

they cannot toss or damage your possessions. They can stop paying on the rental place though. The owners generally hold a lien against the property, by contract.

you would have the right to sue them for your losses if they tossed or damaged your property.

    ok another question.

Just as I suspected they are going to get some things out of the storage and then they were going to let the storage people deal with the rest of my things. Well they weren't even going to tell me they were just going to stop paying. I have the money atleast to get me through this month coming up and she talking about taking her name off the storage. What do I do now? I need my things they all go in my apartment I once had til I moved here. And I am going to leave here as soon as I can and when I move I would like to have my bed and my kids bed and our things.
