My question involves an injury that occurred in the state of: Texas
Okay, I have never heard of this happening but here goes. I put a pot on the stove to cook my daughter and I some brocolli and cheese. I set the temperature to 6 and left it there to boil. I was gone about 10 minutes. When I came back in the kitchen I looked at the pot and noticed I forgot to put water in it. I picked the pot up with potholders because it was hot and started to take it over to my sink. Metal started dripping on my floor, dripped on my foot and I stepped on it. It continued to burn my foot while I kept my 2 year old out of the kitchen so she didn't get burned as well.
I have a horrible burn on my foot. The metal burned a mark in my foot the same shape it was. I now have this big blister on my foot and can barely walk on it. My kitchen floor has about 15 burn places in it where the metal landed.
Should I call the company that made the pot and inform them and see if maybe we can get my floor fixed and doctor paid for?
