    Default Emancipation in Kentucky

    um, im new here so ill just ask one quesstion. could i get emancipated if i get a job, a place to live, and a steady income. im 15 and i live in Kentucky. people have told me that there are no laws about emancipation but i cant take living where i am now. my mum beats on me 24/7 and noone in my family does anything about it. and its not that i have called the police. the child protective services have seen to me since i was about 7 and they wont take me away from my mum. im sure if this keeps up, she'll kill me. so do i have a choice?

    Default Emancipating in Kentucky

    Kentucky has no emancipation statute. You may wish to discuss your situation with a guidance counselor at school to try to detemine what options are available to you.
