    Default DUI's and Citizenship

    Hi all,

I will keep this simple, I have 4 DUI's and a Disorderly Conduct conviction.

My "Green Card" expires 2012, and i have to renew it on or before that date. Will I be deported??

I no longer drink and am an active member within AA and also see a therapist on a weekly basis. In addition I now attend college studying for a BA in Social Work.

I would really like to be a citizen, as I have a 4 year old son that was born in the USA, but that seems impossible, but can I stay here to see him grow up?

I know I have made a mess of my past, but does immigration give people second chances?

You certainly CAN be deported. But no one here can tell you if you WILL be deported.

Read this, then go speak with an immigration attorney in your area.
