Default Cited for Going 44 on a 25

My question involves a speeding ticket from the State of: Washington

    Hi,

I recently got a ticket for going 44 on a 25 zone. I never been pulled over before, but I did got in a car crash two years ago in Illinois. I don't know what to do!!

I've read some articles about what people did. They got this thing called "deferral" and I don't think I'll be eligible for that.

Should I check the "Mitigation Hearing" or the "Contested Hearing"?

    Or just pay the fine?

Also when the cop asked me why he pulled me over, i said i was "speeding". is this basically a confession?

Is my only chance of the ticket going away is if he doesn't show up at court?

Why don't you think you would be eligible for a deferral?
