Hi everyone, this is my first post here. I just got a letter from USCIS saying My interview is (finally) this September 18th, 2009. Our 2nd anniversary is on January 8th, 2010 and we have an 18 month old daughter.
I understand that they will usually issue a permanent green card if you have been married for over two years and a conditional green card for marriages less than 2 years old. Since we are so close to our 2nd anniversary in January, do I still get a conditional green card?
The reason why this is an issue now is because me and my wife are talking about divorce. This will probably take place sometime next year. Even though there's is the chance of a 'Good Faith Waiver' I'm really nervous about getting a conditional green card after the interview and having to go back to Chile after the two years are up and not be able to see my daughter grow up

So I was thinking, is there any way (this might sound stupid, but it cross my mind) like delaying the interview after our 2nd anniversary so I get the permanent green card right away?
