Default 5 Day Notice to Quit or Pay in Wisconsin

My question involves an eviction in the state of: Wisconsin

I just sent my Aug. rent yesterday certified mail. I now today have somebody knocking on my door to serve me, I believe with a 5 day notice as I have not yet received one. Does this 5 day notice count at all since I mailed it yesterday? What if the landlord refuses to sign or accept my rent? I am under a 1 year lease which doesn't expire until June 2010. Thanks!

You're talking about a five day notice to "pay or quit"? If you pay your rent in full, you've done the "pay" part.
