Default Going Back to School for New Skills - California UI

My question involves unemployment benefits for the state of: California

I was laid off from work in March and have yet to find a a job. Since I've been looking for work the past 6 months with no luck, I've decided to go back to school just to take a few classes to learn/improve my skills and keep myself occupied. Since CA unemployment considers going to school as not being available for work, I'm not kind of being caution whether I should stick around for school.

With that said, I don't plan to take the schooling that necessary and plan to drop out if any work did come my way. Would it be a better move to just drop out or continue with the school and leave it up to the interview once I mark that I started school?

    Thanks.

I think I found another thread that answers my question. Please delete this. Thanks.

Going to school is not the same thing as being unavailable for work, provided you are willing to drop out should work become available that is inconsistent with your school schedule.
