My question involves criminal law for the state of: Louisiana
I'm not sure but this may end up as a civil issue.
1. Arrested for Domestic Violence and Aggravated Assault as accused by wife and brother-in-law (beaten by the accusers, did pull a knife but was some 30yds away in self-defense to keep them from coming at me again, thier stories do not match in police reports. it was obvious I was beaten! Afterwards I attempted several times to provide evidence of her hostile behavior to me. I was always denied to have it on record and told to talk to my lawyer...)
2. Arrested for Cyber Stalking wife brought email to police in which she responded several times in conversation (the original report even includes that there is no apparent threats, during procedings of a "protection-order" she would not read the entire email only picking half-sentences, when provided evidence against her the judge called she heard enough and granted the order at which time I was cuffed by and issued a warrant for Cyber Stalking! She obviously was coached and I feel the procedings was coached to have the Cyber Stalking warrant justified or served I don't know!
3. I took evidence regarding my wife sending personal photos of me over the internet and wanted Cyber Voyuerism charges filed (nothing ever happened, filed as information only, last I called the LT of the detectives threated to arrest me because I told him it was crap they wouldn't do anything about it - he spitefully said it was past statute of limitations and he wasn't dong anything about it !)
all charges have been dismissed against me, I've spent around $10k in legal, bails not to mention time from work, missed promotion and raises because of my "legal issues"
Now I'm faced with just taking the shaft because they got away with it and I'm scarred with an arrest record, not to mention internet postings of the arrest. OR fight back and have some justice done, which at the moment only has me being threatened to be arrested!
