My question involves emancipation laws for the State of: Iowa
A three-year-old thread on this forum of the same topic is outdated and now incorrect. Iowa has emancipated teen status legislation. However, as of August 2009, it's still too new to be anything but frustrating. Attorneys a teen advocate sought on our behalf only said they hadn't had time to review it yet. The court house had no form nor procedure for filing an action. As yet, we are still trying attempting to gain the benefit of the new law.
Can anyone help us out?
