    Default Evicting Family in Colorado

Person in question is a family member who has been acting as primary care provider for elderly grandmother. She has now decided not to do this and grandmother is being moved to a long-term care facility. Guardian and other family no longer want the family member living in the house. What is the process of getting her out? How many days notice do you need to provide? Does this notice need to be in writing

    Default Re: Evicting Family--Colorado

Who owns the house? If grandmother, then it's up to grandmother if the family member stays or not. If someone else, or if someone else has power of attorney on grandmother's behalf, then the process is to give notice, go to court, and get an eviction order. You can find forms and description of the process and steps to take at http://www.courts.state.co.us/Forms/...orm_Type_ID/28
