    Default Employment Suit By A Person Who Was Never An Employee

    Can a person sue you - saying it is documented and you hired him? When in reality - you don't have a document at all?
    The person is suing for 12500 for services that were never completed and we received nothing. We received no invoice for services.
    We never had an employment contract with them. Yet they are suing us for not paying his cobra payments (we never agreed to this) and programming services at full time employment - which he did not work full time and we received nothing.

    Default Suit over work performed

    Was this person hired by your firm as an independent contractor, or in some other capacity?
