Default Rehabilitating Someone Who Was Raised to Con and Steal

My question involves criminal law for the state of:??

My friend works in an office by herself for a very small company. she has figured out the system and knows how to reprint customer receipts and pocket the cash they used to purchased items. As far as her not getting caught, it is not suspicious to reprint a receipt, and this company inventory is not accounted for.. so there seems to be no way for her to get caught..

only thing is, she was born and raised to con and steal from others... she wants to stop. she's asked of my help and she's evening interviewing for another job that puts her away from money of any kind so she is not tempted. she honestly wants to quit.

is there anything she can do right now to help keep her from jail/getting caught?

are there any programs that work to help her break the addiction??

Have her come here and to similar sites to read the forums. If reading others' accounts of getting caught when they couldn't possibly get caught doesn't scare her, perhaps nothing will.

Sounds like she could do the following:

    - Read this site.

    - Get into a counseling program, or see a counselor. A psychiatrist is like your lawyer - they have to keep info private.

She just might have to hit rock bottom before anything real substantive happens
