My property backs up to a common alley. Most neighbors maintain the alley but a few have been encroching on the width of the alley to the point where I cannot access my property via the alley.
All deeds state "20 ft alley, maintained by homeowner 10 feet from property line".
The borough even sent a letter stating the 20ft must be maintained, but won't be enforced.
Aside from searching for a dedication for the alley to the borough (alley was built in 1943) what are my options?
Legally I guess it is "no-man's land" with nobody being responsible for the land....I often see mad-max going by!
