My wife has been out of work after having our first child. When she was due she stopped working 1 week before the birth. Cleared with her employer to come back in late august when they would be getting rid of summer help.
This week she was told only 30 hours/week when she comes back. When she left she was at 40 hours/week.
Should her employer be required to give her 40hr/wk or the same pay for 30hrs/week when she was working 40? That is how I interpret the law.
