My question involves bankruptcy in the state of: Florida
and i am choosing to surrender my home.
I have heard all kinds of answers and find nothing to support what my attorney is telling me.
Question? I was told by my attorney that I will have to surrender my home within 30 to 60 days at the most after my 341 hearing.
Can anyone tell me is this is true? and what if the mortage company takes another year to forclose on the property, will i still have to vacate the property. even if i have not recieved a sale date yet?
Seems like no one knows the real answer on this. A freind of mine's attorney says she will be able to stay in her home for at least a another year. Which i think sounds crazy. My attoney told me there is a lot of miss information out there and to plan to surrender the home 30 days after the 341 hearing.
Please if anyone has any facts on this topic please relply.
