When Did My Illegal Stay Start

Hi,
I have F1 till Dec 2010.
I went out of status becuase I did not register.
I was able to pull out following SEVIS information:

Termination : 02/22/2008 :TERMINATED (due to not registering)
ADIS Departure : 08/16/2008 : TERMINATED (I went back to my country)

Have I stayed over 180 days illegally?

To the best of my understanding, your illegal overstay began with the 2/22 termination.

If you left on 0/16, that's still under the 180 day rule, but only just barely.

As Mr. K notes here, whether or not you overstayed illegally would have to be determined by an immigration official.
