    Default Marriage and Emancipation

    I am 16 , and also pregnant , I plan to marry my fiance within the month. When we marry (he is also 17) Will we have the rights of a emancipated minor , As in renting a apartment on our own , And Things like that. Ty.

    Also i live in Texas.

    Assuming that you have your parents permission to marry, yes.

    However, do not go into this assuming that being emancipated means that you will have no trouble renting an apartment. Emancipated or not, a landlord that objects to renting to teenagers is LEGALLY allowed to refuse to rent to you.
