My question involves criminal law for the state of: Washington state
I'm in Washington state & I have a problem with this girl who wanted me to have sexual relations with her about a week ago now & I refused her & she got very upset about, but then she asked for a ride & I reluctantly gave her a ride home , as she was extremly intoxicated. When I took her to the first place she told me her child was at she freaked out saying she was'nt getting out here & said she wanted to be taken to another residence,So I took her there where she again refused to exit the vehicle & so I told her I was going to contact police & as I went for my cell phone she started slaping & kicking me & threw my phone & broke it on the street & finally she exited the car which was a relief to both me & my friend who was with me & I thought that was the end of the drama, but now a week later I have had the police coming to my house & I hear she might have filed assualt charges against me & I just want to know what I should expect & what I should do to prepare for this woman scorned as I have no idea what lies she has told.I also was wondering why the police would believe her when she waits a week to report these trumped up lies? Thank you, for any help or advice you can provide to me.
