    Default Transportation Costs

My question involves criminal law for the state of: Kentucky
My GF's son violated his probation while living in CA. If Kentucky decides that he has to return for the violation, who pays for his transportation, the state or the violater?

It depends on how he goes back. If he wants to sit in jail and fight extradition, he will likely eventually be transported courtesy of the taxpayer - although I won't promise that the state won't try to recoup its expenditures by adding new assessments to his sentence.
