Question Renewing Green Card with a Conviction

I was arrested for a felony class 6 forgery last august (2008). sentenced to 18 months probation in october. no jailtime, no restitution, just a budget class.

i am getting off probation early (10th month) in august (2009). they are also going to drop it to a misdemeanor.

that is also my first offense. other than that my record is spotless.

my green card expires next year (2010) - i came to the US in 1996.

i was wondering if there are any consequences?

    It depends on your crime.
