I was served with an order of protection by my wife and forced to leave my apartment. My son lives there also (my wife is not his mother) and he is not listed on the protection order, he is 20 years old and his name was on the lease as an occupant. He left with me not wanting to stay there with my wife. The apartment complex manager changed the locks on the apartment and the mail box at my wifes request. My son went back to the apartment and requested a new key from the complex manager and he was denied. He was told that my wife did not want him to have a key, he called the police and was told that he had to wait until my wife was at home to gain entrance to the apartment or mail box, because she was afraid he would take something that did not belong to him.
My question is - Can the complex manager deny him access to the apartment or mailbox and if not is this actionable.
