Does Repoing Our Car Ruin His Credit

My question involves divorce in the State of: Florida

There is no legal separation in Florida but we are seperated. We own a Santa Fe that is in his name AND mine. His name is first on the paperwork.He is currently paying the car payment. If he tries to repo the car, will this ruin his credit? Can he stop paying the payment and do that?

If he quits making the car payment, the company that granted to loan can take the car back. Who ever has their name on the car note will have the repo on their credit report.

If you mean he tries to take the car from you, that has no bearing on his credit as long as someone keeps making the payments.
