Default Laws Against Abandonment of Pregnat Woman and Unborn Child when Married

I cant afford an attorney and my husband left the home ,left all his stuff here and in the storage, took half our moving money and claimed he wanted to start his life over and has been avoiding me. He claims I KICKED HIM OUT . He wanted to leave. I never threw his stuff out until recently. We would have spats where both said things but I told him I didnt want him to go. Its been 5 weeks and he is acting single,he has no job right now but gets unemployment and I am not sure what the laws are. Can he just go like that with no retribution in this state?I do not have the money to file for divorce. He has mental issues as well as alcohol issues he also needs to address.

Yes, he can just go. Even a court can't SENTENCE someone to be married, stay home, or act like they are married.

I do not have the money to file for divorce.
Check with the state bar association of your state - they can make referrals to legal aid and other such programs in your area who can assist you. Until divorce proceedings are started, he'll remain in "husband" status with no order from a court to do things like pay child support, or alimoney, or keep health insurance on the child, or to keep up payments on accounts like cars, property, credit cards, or other debt, and a number of other important things. You should also immediately get a copy of your credit report (everyone is entitled to a free copy each year, just visit http://www.annualcreditreport.com . When a person is up to no good in one area, it's always wise to check out what ELSE they might be up to. There could be all sorts of things out there with your name on them that you know nothing about.

He has mental issues as well as alcohol issues he also needs to address.
Only he can make himself address those issues. Be aware that if they weren't grave enough to stop you from having a child with him, that the courts will consider this when ruling on custody/visitation.
