Company: The Seller’s Lounge
Signed up for a service with the indication of a gift that caught my eye. I fully read the terms and conditions which stated I had 10 days to cancel and have no past present or future debts to them. I called and canceled within 5 days of signing up. On the 11th day I see a charge for $67.83. I called them up and they claim to have no record of me calling to cancel therefore it is a legitimate charge. I charged with a debit card and I have filed a fraud alert on the charge with the bank. I am not sure what recourse I have though since it is past 10 days since I first signed up. What proof does the bank need to reverse the charge? Will they be helpful at all? I have BoA. I do have phone records showing that I called their cancellation number within the 10 day trial period.
Ideas?
