    Default Frozen accounts

I just had a question. If the creditor had collected the money would the account be unfrozen?

Why I ask is that I left a frozen account and haven't used it in about 6 years. Now I am wondering if this account would by now be unfrozen and if not what would it take to do that???

    Default Dormant Bank Account

    Check with your bank.

If there was money left in the account, after six years it may have been taken by the state under escheat laws, in which case you would have to make a claim for its return from the state.
