    Default Civil Demand

    My question involves criminal law for the state of: illinois

    Im 16 and I got caught stealing $33 dollar worth of merchandise at target. They took me to the backroom and wrote my name, address, and phone down and said i will recieve a letter of payment in about a month. What will happen if i dont pay?

    You'll find out if you don't pay. Possibilities include you and your parents being sued, or that they'll try to initiate criminal charges.
