I was charged with possession of marijuana and paraphernalia in NJ in October 2009 (I was 20 at the time and I am 21 now).
Case Details: I had two charges: possession of marijuana and paraphernalia. One of the charges was dropped about a month later. The other charge I was exculpated from, which lead to the charge being dismissed. So, in the end both charges were dismissed. I also had an expungement done after both charges were dropped. I did not need to participate any pre-trial intervention or diversionary program, nor did I have to go through probation because the charges were dismissed.
I have to get a background check done via verifiedcredentials.com. The check will include
- Social Security Report (name/address locator)
- County Criminal Record History (7 year searches in unlimited U.S. jurisdictions)
- Pennsylvania Statewide Criminal Record History
- National Criminal Database includes, but not limited to:
- 50 State Sex Offender Registry
- Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) Specially Designated Nationals (SDN) Search
Has anyone ever had to get a background check via this website or a similar type of company? If a similar company, which one?
Do you guys think that anything will come up on the check, seeing as how both charges were dismissed and i filed an expungement ...
Any input on this would be much appreciated.
Thanks
