Lightbulb Civil Claim and Worker's Comp

My question involves workers compensation law for the state of: CA
I am witness to a work comp claim. The person who was in the wrong was assigned to be my supervisor 1 week after testimony. Six months later I requested transfer from Sup. for his behavior. I was transferred and have been in hostile work environment. Due to all circumstances above I tore my knee and had surg. Returned to work and retore again. Both copm cases are open but I have a pretty strong civil claim. How do I find attorney bigger than theirs, they are county. and what advice can anyone offer?

I did not want to go legal but they are going to kill me from the stress.
