My question involves restraining orders in the State of: Indiana
Just sort of curious, can they search cell phone records for a court ordered no contact order? If so, do they keep tabs on all that?![]()

They don't monitor numbers if that's what you're asking. But if there's a court order in place and someone says it's being violated, phone records are probably the very FIRST thing they'll check up on.
My ex has been violating it and I am scared it will get me into trouble. She is the victim and she wanted to tell me about dropping the charges she placed on me. Now I am scared they are going to look into the no contact order if she does happen to drop them as I have answered a few of her calls and text messages about the topic; reluctantly might I add. It is really giving me a guilty conscience and a bad feeling. When they lift it will they look? Also, if she does drop the charges, will they look into that? What I am gathering is the only way they will look at our records is if some one notifys the prosecuting attorney the order has been broken.
