the hr lady is making me use sick time (40 hours, my total for the year) and then vacation time for the rest of the time I was out. she said that once I get the settlement from the ins company I can pay them back and recoup that time but who knows when that will be.
Does this all seem right? why shouldn’t the company just front me my pay and then recoup the money from workers comp? I was on the job when I got hit in my car and broke my wrist.
