My question involves labor and employment law for the state of: California.
I just finished my employment background check and I am now being asked to give a copy of my Formal Complaint (which is originally 3 Felonies) and the Final Disposition (Plea bargain...1 Misdemeanor) so that they can "run it past their corporate office". I know that once they see the severity of the original charges I am toast. I didn't pay an attorney over $20k for this to haunt me. Is this legal?
