    Question Use of Wildcard Exemptions

Please help if you can. I am filing Chapter 7 pro se. Upon filling out my exemption papers (schedule C), I do not own a home or burial plot.

Using system 2 of the California Exemption chart, I see under WILDCARD that you can use the "unused portion of your homestead or burial exemption". Since I did not use either of these, they are all unused. This would cover ALL of the property I listed on my schedule...can I just use the same wildcard exemption under CCP § 703.140(b)(5) to exempt all of my property?

You can claim a wild card exemption even if you don't own a home or burial plot.
