Default "I-407 Advised" Stamp on Passport

    Hi everyone,
I am a newbie here. I need some advices regarding the "I-407 Advised" stamp on a passport.

If you have "I407 Advised" stamp on passport and still want to maintain LPR status, what do you have to do?

With the stamp, does that mean they will not allow you to reenter into the U.S. if you travel outside of the U.S. again?

How long does it take for you to be able to travel freely again?

How can you appeal to have the stamp removed? The person travels frequently but never exceed 6 months of duration. She comes back to the U.S. twice a year to make sure she's not outside the U.S. longer than 6 months.

Thank you very much for your help in advance.

    Anyone? Please help.
    In addition to top questions:
    1. if you file I-407, does it automatically terminate all the benefits you've earned as a LPR? such as Social Security benefits and healthcare?
    2. what about retirement benefits (e.g., 401K), and investments (e.g., ownership in a home)? Do you have to give up?

Simply returning to the US periodically does not keep your permanent residency. You are expected to make the US your home - live and work in the US and not visit for a few days every 6 months or so.

Some benefits are available to non-citizens; others are not. Some depend on your citizebship and "totalization"; others do not.

You may have investments in the US as a non-resident.

If you want to be a LPR, live and work in the US.
