    Default Salon Burnt My Hair

A salon in Central london, (i think was using Chinese hair straightening system) burnt my hair.
After the permanent straightening application (costing £140) I then washed it off on the 3rd day. I soon realised upto 5 inches of it from the bottom looked burnt, very frizzy and rough like nylon thread. I went to another local salon to get the ends trimmed as they look so bad but still there is about 4 inch of damage.
I am very unhappy as i am going to my own family members wedding and have family guests around in the house for few weeks who probably think i've naturally frizzy hair.
The hairdresser was using the straightening iron tongs on my dripping wet hair which was creating a sizzling steam. I feel that might have burnt it. What do you think i can claim from them?

Although I do not know Bristish law and his IS a US forum, in general...

In any court system, not a cent.

I could explain it to you but not worth the effort.

You really need to be asking a U.K. solicitor or posting to a U.K. board. As you were told when you posted, this is a U.S. forum.
