Default Legal Age to Sign a Contract or Legal Document

I work at a hospital in Ohio. There is question as to when a juvenile is allowed to sign paperwork. Our attorneys are saying if a teenage girl has had more than one baby, although still living and being supported by her parents, she is legally emancipated and allowed to sign the paperwork.

Ask your lawyers for their legal authority - statutes, case law, etc.

    Default Emancipation

I have asked for authentication material regarding the law and have gotten nothing...........I know Ohio State law only provides for emancipation if minor is married or in the Armed Services. I was just looking for backup on this. I have contacted the Ohio Bar Assoc. so hopefully we'll get this taken care of.
