    Default Forced to Resign

My employer forced me to resign or be terminated. ( not given a reason) I choose to resin. I signed a separation agreement release form in it I was given 5 weeks one lump sum to shut me up and promise not to sue them.

My question is will unemployment deduct that from my benefits?

    Default Re: Help

My answer is I don't know.

Seriously. I'm not trying to be a smart ass. It depends on how the amount is defined by the employer to the state; wages, severance, bonus, etc.
