Default Dealing with a Vindictive Neighbor

Last April my then 6 year old son was bitten by our neighbors dog,

I told the animals owners and even though the bites were superficial we found a puncture wound on my sons testicles, any way I took him to our family doctor the next day, she suggested I call animal control, but I figured since she said her dog was up to date on his shots we would work it out in a neighborly fashion. So I opted not to call.

Here we are a year later and at the begining of February her dog was at large, no one was home, we called animal control, but I could not get through, so we called our mgr's office( we live in a nice mobile home park) We informed the mgr that the dog was at large and the she needed to tell our neighbor to keep the dog chained as my son is deathy afraid of this dog( which is a poodle mix) My son is afraid of all dogs but more so this one, My son was in therapy for the trauma as well.

To make a long story short this neighbor is now saying my son is a bully on this street and that he is amenace, which is not true, he cries if you make faces at him, I am not by any way saying my son is a saint far from it. This neighbor is talking to neighbors and having them call the office saying verbatem of what she said, We had another neighbor come to our defense and he had animal control called on him for cats in his yard, we have a bunch of ferrel cats all over, he does not own any cats. Any way she defaming my sons name as his name is now on the bully list here in our park, and he is the one getting beat up all thetime???? He has no clue how to fight, She issaying my son isconstantly inher yard hitting her dog with a stick,#1 my son fears dogs severly #2 why would a child who fears daogs go near a dog none the less the one that bit him? Now we do not havbe aleash law here in our city but an "at large law" the dog has to be within the owners voice command. we have seen her foster children sit on the dog and throw stones at it. Getting back to the verbatem statements that sounds like she has coached her alleged witnesses in what to say. What can we do to stop this? I contacted a lawyer and he told me towrite a letter of demand to stop her nonsense. but with out it coming from a lawyer I am afraid she will turn around and use it as a form of harrassment.

He knows I am in school getting my certificate in Paralegal but apparently he did not want to write it. Which I actually took kind of offense to his statement" well its a mobile home park no one has money so I doubt you would get any" I beg to differ. I have money not much but I am not starving either, and have assets. I choose to live below my means, that does not say Those who live in a Mobile home do not have money. That icked me off. I have choose to see if it all dies down,As they say the wise person keeps their cool and the tongue wagger shows their real character.

We just came back from paying our lot rent and the Office mgr said one more report we will be evicted from the park, now mind you hese allegations only occur when this other little boy Austin is here visiting his grandmother.
This problem has turned on us, and she is now stating her dog did NOT bite my son. Is'nt it not the doctorsresponsibilty to report that who treated him?

Angry Re: Dealing with a vindictive neighbor

My Neighbor is at it again, my son was playing kick ball with a few of his friends in our cul de sac one of the boys hit one of the cars parked in the street and the alarm went off, ( there were no windows broken and no damage done) she is now stating that there is damage to both the vehicle and her mobile home, The car is a junker and the kickball had like no air in it, She phoned the police and filed a report, she pointed out my son, and yet my son was not the one that kicked the ball. We now have to deal with our parks landlord, I phoned our insurance company and we are covered but my son was NOT alone but yet she is only going after him. My son is only 7 years old and is emotionally distraught over this, where he is threatening to kill himself because of this hype. Should I file an injunction for harrassment against her?
The police laughed it off but yet files the report s they said the ball had to go somewhere and the car was not suppose to be parked in the street.
She claims the damage to her mobile home is the skirting ins bent, its been like that for some time now. What should I do?
I told my insurance agency to send out an investigator because she is trying to rip us off, she has been planning to move and the outside of her home needs repair. We are not paying for this!
