My question involves a reckless driving ticket from the State of: WA

Hello everyone... I got a reckelss driving ticket Oct of 2007. Got a lawyer, went to court several times, and was convicted of reckless driving on Aug of 2008: had to pay a fine and they said my licenese would be suspended for 30 days.

Well I never got the DOL license suspension notice, 10 mo's passed since date of conviction (Aug 08) and FINALLY it came in the mail Jun 2009! Says that I need to stop driving this August. I thought maybe the court messed up and didn't file something so I wasn't going to get my license suspended, but apparently they were just REALLY slow.

My question is: can they still suspend my license even 10 mo's after conviction (convicted back in Aug 08!)???

They also said I can request an "administrative review"... is this an opportunity for me to plead my case again to try to prevent license suspension? Should I bring a lawyer to this administrative review?

Thanks all!
